LARYNGOSCOPE - PROPPER FLIP-TIP



The Propper Flip-Tip blade is a modification of the traditional macintosh blade designed to improve visualization of the larynx, and can assist in both non complicated and difficult intubations. The instrument is especially suitable in situations of unpredictable airway condition in emergency rooms, ambulance services, etc.

Manipulation with The Propper Flip-Tip laryngoscope does not require additional training and reduces risk of tooth damage and laryngeal tissue injury. The Propper Flip-Tip blade can simplify elevation of the epiglottis for the following conditions:

  • Spine or head trauma
  • Reduced thyromental distance
  • Short or immobilized neck
  • Obesity
  • Swollend tissue of the larynx
  • Pregnancy
  • Prominent upper teeth
  • Poor mouth opening
  • Enlarged tongue and its backward position
